Interior Painting
Paint is the fastest way to change a room and the easiest trade to do badly. We spend the time on prep, then lay color that matches the light you actually have.
We walk each room in daylight and again with the lamps on. North light, a warm bulb, and a glossy door all change the same chip. Samples go on the wall in large patches, not on a tiny card held in the air, and we leave them up long enough for you to see morning and evening.
Prep is the job. Nails are set, cracks are filled, failing caulk is cut out, and glossy trim is sanded so the new coat has something to hold. We protect floors, switches, and furniture. Spraying is used where it gives a better door or cabinet face; brushing and rolling are used where control matters more.
Ceilings, walls, trim, and doors are specified separately. A ceiling that should disappear gets a flat coat. Trim that should feel crisp gets a finish you can wipe. We label the cans that stay with you so a later scuff can be touched in with the same sheen.
Exterior refresh, when it is part of the same conversation, follows the same rule: repair the timber or render first, then coat. Color on a soft board is not a paint job. It is a delay.

We move what we safely can and ask you to clear fragile or very heavy pieces first. Floors are covered before anything slides.
Two finish coats on a sound surface is typical. A strong color change, stains, or bare patches may need a primer. That is stated in the proposal, not discovered on the last day.
Yes, when the doors are sound. They are cleaned, sanded, primed, and finished in a controlled way. We will not paint over grease and call it durable.
If we applied the color you approved on the wall sample, a change of mind is a new scope. If we missed the approved chip, we correct it.
